Lexington, Massachusetts, is a town in Middlesex County. Its land was settled during the early 1640s. Buckman Tavern is the town’s oldest tavern. (It was built between 1704-1710.) The tavern offers guided tours from spring to fall. The Minuteman Bikeway is about eleven miles long, starting from Cambridge and ending in Bedford. Many locals use the bikeway for cycling, jogging, and walking. The Old Reservoir contains a pond with a beach. It’s open every day of the week from June to August.
